I love this store! Their clothes are adorable and so unique. I bought this really pretty knit sweater that was on clearance. However, when I went to try it on, I noticed there was a big hole in the back of the collar area of the sweater. I told them about it and they offered to take 60% off of the clearance price since I have to mend it. I was super appreciative about it and so happy that they offered that.

This place is scammy. Made an online order and could not return in store due to not having the original form of payment that was not Apple Pay - they were super pushy about me converting to in store credit and I kept saying no. When I ship back portions of two separate orders, I have to heckle customer service after two weeks of not receiving a refund. For two separate orders, I got the same message after reaching back out along the lines of “your refund was processed incorrectly, it will take extra time.” How does that happen with two separate orders? Why is it such a hassle to return items here? I’ve never had these issues with other stores. I’m considering just returning everything from these now as I’m not a huge fan of this place.

Update: it’s been a couple weeks and I STILL haven’t received my $800 refund from when I returned my clothes.

Firstly, shopping here is always a pleasant experience as the staff is kind and helpful. Secondly, I temporarily lost my engagement ring in one of the dressing rooms and the staff (and customers) diligently helped me search for it while I was in tears! The entire staff was incredibly sweet and supportive, especially Khiara (sp?) and one of the checkout girls (long black hair). They deserve employees of the month or even a bonus, please!

Came to arula yesterday and was blown away by the customer service Whitney gave to me. It seem like she was the only one in the store but she welcomed me when I walked in, got me a fitting room started and checked me out in a timely manner which is great. She was also super kind and lovely and made everyone feel confident. I’ll definitely be back

I was super excited to get some new clothes. The employees seem lackluster at best. The clothing is SO expensive. Also, it seems like since the remodel there is a very limited inventory of clothing than before..one part of the store seemed to be entirely dedicated to brides to be which is disappointing, as the company just opened up a HUGE bridal store right across from Yard House. Won't be going back anytime soon.

Update! Altar’d state reached out to me and turned a bad situation into a good one. I appreciate a company who can accept and fix their mistakes. Thank you for making this right.

I used to really love this place, but after today, I’m not loving it. I went to browse the clearance section and there was a bunch of dresses marked for 5.99. So I grabbed one with my other stuff and head to check out, the girl at the checkout desk was so rude. I asked her how much the dress ring up for since I got it from the clearance… $44.
She didn’t care that you all had supposedly mismarked dresses for 6$. I work in the retail work, your mistake, your loss. Ended up putting my stuff back and left.

I had purchased a dress for valentine’s day and washed it in cold water and let air dry and it shrunk. I was super upset about this. I called and Addy helped me out and did an exchange with no questions asked. I am absolutely in love with their customer service. Most stores would not have done anything about the dress. This is a great store to visit, the employees will help you find exactly what you are looking for! Highly suggest visiting!! This is my new favorite store, hands down!
