Service was great. Very friendly atmosphere! Drinks were great but go premium it made a difference from the house. Margarita. You can tell they have great local service and strive to have a fun atmosphere! This is a great place for local regulars.

Just moved north from San Antonio and wanted to find some nachos. I saw Esther’s actually melted shredded cheese and broiled theirs so gave it a try. They were excellent! They even fry the tostada chips fresh to order. The beef fajitas on top were tender and cooked perfectly. The waitress was super friendly and it was not even crowded for a Friday night. I can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu.

Off the beaten path kind of. Nicely decorated and clean. Wait staff were very nice and attentive. Food came in a reasonable amount of time. Prices were on par with other like establishments. I'd say get out and support this local establishment.

Colorful and clean atmosphere

Excessively long wait,. Had to get our own menus and refill our own water glasses.

Supreme nachos had cold beans and barley any cheese.
El Pastor was flavorful and served with hot tortillas.
The Beef enchiladas had ZERO flavor, and the cheese on top was unmelted when served.

Salsa was above average, chips tasted stale.

Esther’s is a great place for classic tex-mex food, on Main St. in Buda, Texas. The atmosphere is very artsy with each wall looking like an Instagram museum. The inside seating is ample and they also outdoor patio which was very nice. The wait staff were friendly and attentive, the food was excellent as were the margaritas. Overall this is an excellent spot to try and worth driving to Buda if you live i the surrounding area. Two thumbs up for Esther’s!

The place was great, it had good wait time, great decorations and music and excellent food and drinks! I recommend the cheese enchiladas. The place is cheap and it's an overall great place.

Great little place to hang in Buda with very reasonable prices. I’d be remiss not to start with how awesome their margaritas are! (You can also get a few to go)

The food here is solid Tex-Mex. We recently went and had the mixed fajitas with chicken, steak and chorizo - I’ve never had them this way but they were really good. Typical sides, rice and beans and chips/salsa. I like their queso compuesto too. We like the service and the atmosphere. The music is always great and super nice staff. Again, do yourself a favor and get their margaritas!
