Sharing with the community that we had a wonderful experience at Rex with Jose Pardal as our point of contact. We needed to refurbish and cover patio furniture that was in great shape, but the cushion material and fabric had suffered many Florida summers. Jose helped us find wonderful Sunbrella material and they also manufactured new cushions that do not hold water (our prior ones were like a giant sponge). The end product looks and feels great. Perfect fit and finished with superb attention to detail; all the lines match and align, etc.. Jose was great at communicating all along the process. Turnaround time was less than two weeks. The tailors and workers were exceptionally skilled and attentive, making the entire process enjoyable and stress-free. MADE MY WEDDING DRESS TOO SMALL AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I had my wedding dress altered here based on recommendations from a local tailor. It needed to fit smaller around the chest. When I came back for a fitting, it was clearly too small. The seams and buttons were pulling and I could barely get it closed. They angrily told me “you gained weight!” and called me “fat” in Spanish. They pulled it so tightly that they popped a stitch at the waistband (see photo). They said it needed to be fixed and let out, but when they called the main seamstress (she was off that day), it was clear from the phone conversation that the person on the other end of the line didn’t want to deal with it. They changed their mind and started telling me the dress would fit “if you pull it tight enough” and had me leave with my dress. I would’ve argued, but frankly, I didn’t trust them not to mess it up further. They made my mom sign a form that we were “satisfied” before we left with the dress. I paid $1800 and have to get the dress completely realtered before my wedding. Most importantly, I returned to the bridal shop where I purchased the dress, got re measured, and MY SIZE HAS NOT CHANGED. I have not gained weight. Rex fabrics messed up, made my dress too small, wrongly blamed ME, then did not offer to help the situation.

Even if I had gained weight, their handling of the situation was completely inappropriate. I am a physician and to blame an individual without offering a solution is not only unprofessional, but dangerous. This has been an incredibly stressful situation. I would not recommend that anyone support this business and I hope this review encourages them to reach out to me so we can resolve the situation

Me encanta este lugar, no solo venden telas, también ofrecen todo acerca de diseño y fabricación. Mande a rehacer unos cojines y muebles pequeños y quedaba fascinada con la atención, la calidad y la variedad de telas etc etc. La asesoría y gestión de Jose Pardal es fantástica. El precio al principio me pareció alto pero después de ver la calidad de todo entendí el valor. Los super recomiendo. Gracias a Juan también.

Nice store, lots of options but very expensive. I paid $10 for a basic 20” zipper and that just didn’t sit right with me. I still bought it because the color match was exactly what I was looking for but I don’t think I can keep coming back here as a source. Also the staff only helps you if you look like you will be spending money so keep that in mind!

The best service at Rex Fabrics so far we’ve had has been by NANCY! She was great throughout the 3 hours we had there picking and matching different fabrics for our dresses! She understood exactly what we wanted and even more! She also knows very well the names and differences between fabrics and their functions. We had a blast. Taking fabrics and picking them can be time consuming and she was always very patient and had a great attitude always. Would definitely request here again when we come back!

I have been shopping at Rex for a while and the service and care that employees have, never disappoint! Recently I went in to buy a loop turner for a dress I’m making and unfortunately there was none in stock but the owner Josniel Fiallo came out to help me and he let me borrow one from their atelier.
So kind,I love this place ! 🙂
