I had the opportunity to go shopping today with Victoria. I'll try to express how I'm feeling.
It was such a life-changing experience! I struggled figuring out what looked good on me, cut, color, size, shape you name it. I hated shopping, I always left feeling bad about my body and size, sometimes even in tears. I have successfully avoided it to the point where I haven't gone shopping for myself in years. Probably close to 10 years, if not longer.
Not once today did any of those emotions pop up. I felt beautiful, powerful, sexy and stunning. Victoria showed me exactly what to look for, in cut, color, material, style and pattern. I am empowered to shop for myself, so I can always look and feel my best. From the bottom of my heart thank you.

Sydnie went over and above what I ever expected from this experience. She met with me to discuss my lifestyle and fashion to tailor her approach specifically to me. Then she went the day before to pick out pieces in my size and style so when I arrived there was a rack specifically curated for me. Sydnie talked through each option, took pictures, and I particularly appreciated how she thought about pairing with my existing closet. When it was all said and done, Sydnie created various look options in an app that makes it easy to reference my wardrobe and get creative. She made the entire shopping experience fun and my wardrobe has never felt better!

I had the good fortune to have Carly help me with a complete wardrobe update. I had gotten to the point where I didn’t even want to go shopping anymore because I needed so many new clothes. Carly listened to my needs and remembered exactly my preferences once we hit the stores. She somehow knew what would look good on me (something I struggle with on my own). I came away from the wardrobe session feeling great about what I was wearing for work (strict business attire) and casual. Shopping on my own, I wouldn’t have been able to these great clothes that were comfortable, fit well and looked great. The process was much more efficient with Carly helping me. Carly is able to offer advice in a nonjudgmental way which made the process fun.

Whether you need just a few new outfits or a complete wardrobe overhaul like me, Carly is a fantastic help. She had an uncanny ability to know what I needed. I now have a wardrobe that works great for all my needs.

I have been working with Carly at A La Mode for the last three years. It has been a great experience and really elevated my wardrobe and fashion sense to a new level. My clothes shopping trips have never been anywhere close to as efficient as when I go with Carly and we can create a whole new look for a season in a few hours. She is also conscious of my budget and often finds deals for me rather that pushing me to spend more on a designer label that doesn't add any more value. Part of the shopping process is also education and I feel much more capable of picking out good shoes - something that was a complete mystery before. I always have a wonderful experience with Carly! I really dislike shopping and always feel so overwhelmed when trying to attempt it so I am so glad I found Carly! I had my first trip with her over a year ago. I could not believe that in just a few short hours at the mall, I had a new spring wardrobe. I could have never done that on my own. She is very efficient with her time—had already pre-shopped and had items picked out at the store for me to try on. I met with her again in fall to pick out a fall wardrobe. For my most recent appointment with her, I had Carly come to my house to do the closet analysis. This was a great idea! I actually have a lot of clothes, but end up not wearing many because I never know how to pull it all together to make a complete outfit. Carly was able to look through my things and make outfits out of what I already had! I didn’t even have to spend money on clothes and I got a bunch of new outfits! Then I hired her for an hour of online shopping for a couple of items that I did need. I could not believe the number of links she sent me for items for just an hour of pay! I expected an option or two for each item, but she sent me many more options which was great! Carly is awesome to work with and has made shopping a much more pleasant experience for me!

Carly helped me far more than I ever expected - I consider myself a reasonably stylish person but after two kids had no time and interest to shop and was unhappy with my wardrobe. She took the time to sit down and understand my style and what I wanted and needed. The closet analysis was terrific for weeding out items that weren't great, learning new style guidelines (some of which I had never heard and make total sense!), and putting new outfits together. But it wasn't until the shopping trip that it all really came together for me. I didn't understand or maybe believe that many of my own things were outdated until I tried on new things in the store and Carly showed me how to put new things together. It finally made sense why I wasn't that happy with what I had. She whipped me through several stores and picked out everything for me to try on, but at the same time never rushed me and wanted to make sure I was happy and comfortable before deciding on things. It was the best way to shop ever – and I am now wearing colors, patterns, and styles that I really like and would never have picked for myself. I am really happy with my clothes for the first time in a long time and finally feel like it’s been easy to get dressed in the morning and feel good about what I’m wearing. I highly recommend doing both the closet analysis and the shopping trip to get the full benefits and a proper education (or re-education in my case). Carly is also incredibly responsive and organized and I have appreciated the documents she has created for me and email follow-ups. I worked with someone else once and that was useless in comparison. I want my husband to work with her and he has been reluctant in typical guy fashion but in the meantime did the email outfit advice for a new suit and she quickly came back with a couple of cool options I also wouldn't have thought of, along with guidance on how to style it in different ways. Highly recommend Carly and will be working with her again in the future!
