The food was amazing! We got the chicken enchiladas verde and it had a good kick (of chilli spoce!), as well as beef with tortillas. Steve knew that this was a take-away order for multiple people, and he added extra soppapilas for all of us! It was soft and warm (yum!). Not to mention the chips and salsa and guacamole was fresh and delicious.
I would come definitely come here again!

Super cute place to eat a delicious dinner. Chips and salsa were good. I ordered the Carne Adovada burrito with Christmas Chile. Chile definitely had heat to it, but it was so good. Plate is served with beans, potatoes, and a delicious sopapilla! Our server was amazing and on top of making sure everything is going well and our drinks are refilled. Chatted a bit with the owner, who was very nice. Thank you for an awesome dinner! We will be back.

Food was gross. I ordered a taco plate with lettuce instead of the taco shells and they gave me obviously rotten lettuce. I told the waiter about it and he discounted the bill. $3.50 worth of rotten lettuce. The ground beef was dry and cold.
Service was mediocre. My bf had to ask for more water and I had to ask for the check by getting the dish washer’s attention for the waiter.

As my first experience with New Mexican food ( actually second, I had gone to a food truck the previous evening ) very disappointing. Where are the vaunted flavors ? Service was SUPER slow, and the place is too crowded and certainly small. They do serve large platters, but the flavors could have been better. I have eaten better tacos in Virginia.

Great restaurant!! Fantastic authentic New Mexican food. The sopapillas are to die for! - so soft and delicious on the inside. I recommend getting them as an appetizer, because you're going to want more than one!

My husband got the fajitas, and he really enjoyed them. I got the green chile enchiladas - and there were so crazy spicy, but very good. This was my first time getting authentic chile in New Mexico, and it was probably one of the spiciest dishes in my life, but still very good. So, just be warned!!

Also, the wine margaritas are very good, strong, and a reasonable price.

And lastly, the waiter was friendly and personable.

My server Alan was very helpful with choosing what to get for a “lighter” lunch and also bringing something to go with my on my flight back home.
The carne adovada was marinated in a pork/red chile sauce that made it spicier than typical red chile and the meat was cooked perfectly. The green Chile enchiladas I had at the airport were OUT OF THIS WORLD. I didn’t get to try much chile but this is the best green chile I’ve had yet. The chicken was also really creamy and tender. Each dish came with papas which were some of the best potatoes I’ve ever had I could just eat a plate of those with the chile.
I also haven’t had many Sopapilas in my life and at first wondered why New Mexicans have it with seemingly every meal - El Patio’s sopapilla’s are delicious and I changed my tune.

This place is fantastic! It's very near the university so keep that in mind. There is paid parking on the street or free parking in the back for customers. Parking in the back is tight though. There is both outside and inside seating. I usually get the stuffed sopapilla here but I also like the green chile chicken enchiladas. Their sopapillas are amazing!
