This place is awesome! The layout and decoration are inviting and cozy. Our server was great, and the food was delicious. Came during happy hour, and the house margaritas were made right.

I highly recommend coming here.

Updated my rating for takeout orders. Don't bother. Took over an hour AFTER ordering online. Watched someone order after I came to pickup, and they got their food 10 minutes before I did. They run a great restaurant, but the take-out aspect needs serious work.

The decor and art is very warm and cozy. The restaurant is spacious, clean and exciting. I arrived at 3pm on a Friday. There was plenty of parking and seating. The staff was prompt and polite, but there were some things that were overlooked. For instance, one of us never received lemons for their drink and another person did not receive the extra order of tortillas that was requested. There were only three people in my party and the place wasn't busy, which made these inconveniences hard to overlook. We ordered combo fajitas, beef taco salad and a combination plate of tamale, relleno and crunchy chicken taco. There were comments that the taco salad was a bit bland and the fajita meat was a bit overcooked. The combination dinner was the favorite of the three meals. If you want adult beverages, they have lots to choose from here. Including tequila flights. Happy hour starts at 3 and includes food specials. I want to give this place five stars, but I really need to have a better experience with the service. I will be going back soon to test if I may have caught them having an "off" day.

My son took me for Mother's Day and we both had the chicken quesadilla. The guacamole was spicier than we were used to but it was honestly very good. We were surprised when the mariachi musicians started to play. It was a memorable lunch.

Yep ... went again. I have to comment on just how amazing fresh the chips were. And also the live music played a requested song of "Amazing Grace" ... it was a Sunday after church meal. ?

Really enjoyed everything with El Patron! The Spanish rice was a little mushy, but it didn't retract from the meal! I also enjoyed the live music!

I ordered Beef Nachos which were prepared just as I asked. The food was good even though it and the drinks were a little slow coming out. I was with a large party of about 10. We sat outside under a tent covered area pretty nice and cool even though the tent did have a few tears in it. Overal good experience, I would go back.

This place has really great food! I always come for happy hour and the food and service is always stellar. During happy hour they have a band in the bar area. Happy hour starts at 3 everyday!! Some of the best things on the menu, fish tacos, shrimp tostada, frito pie and cheese fries!!! Prices are excellent during happy hour. ? Been to both locations, ONLY GO TO THE MONTGOMERY LOCATION! You’ll thank me later.

Food is very basic Mexican good, but our server was wonderful and the margarita was very good! Good place to chill and have a good drink. Free Sopapillias are great!
