Very simple spot, prices awesome - food was great.. it's not a 5 due to just the lack of service.. not bad service.. but just sort of lacking luster. Maybe it was close to the server getting off work or something, and he was tired or bored.

We wanted to try a different Mexican restaurant compared to our usual, and that's why we're here. They have limited seats, but fortunately, they had a spot for us when we arrived. They also provide complimentary chips and salsa. We ordered a side of guacamole that was creamy and yummy. For our meals, we ordered the fajitas plate, the El Gordo (burrito), and a kids cheese Quesidilla with fries. Surprisingly, our food came out hot and fresh within 15 minutes from ordering. The reason for a 3 star was because of the service and the food was ok. I had to wait halfway through my food to ask for hot sauce. I also had to ask for extra napkins, extra chips, and water. The water was never refilled, and we never received refills on chips.

Excellent all around. El Sazon goes about and beyond ensuring service and quality are hand in hand. I appreciate their kindness and respectful staff. They made some of the best Tex Mex I have had ever in Texas. Ask for the more spicy hot sauce. It’s OnPoint

We all loved the service,food and the atmosphere. The owners are adorable and polite. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. THE FOOD IS AMAZING!!!!!!! YUMMY ?. Everyone needs to try this place. Fajitas for two is enough for 4 people. It comes with brisket ; grilled shrimp, beef and chicken. Rice and beans. Cost $32.00. During the week they have lunch specials for $8.99.
A soft drink will be in a can,but they serve it with a glass of ice. It's BYOB.

Very cute restaurant! I love the succulents everywhere! The staff was very friendly & quick. You are able to BYOB! (It's nice there's a gas station right next door so you can grab a beverage there). I was a little disappointed in the brisket tacos as there wasn't too much meat & was kind of dry. My husband got the El Jefe Parillada & we were impressed with how they present this plate. I tried most of his plate & it was good.

Imagine this: it's 1989. You've walked into your favorite Mexican food place. The smell warms your belly.
Did this place smell like that? A little. But that food was fire ?!
They have your standard Tex Mex fare with a few grilled dishes and some mariscos dishes too. The grub was delish. The cheese enchilada was just like I got when I was a kid. Boom! Make sure to ask for the hotter salsa in the back.
The atmosphere really makes you feel like you're in some small town. Very nice.
Our server was fun and quick even though he had a ten top behind us. Now if they only had beer! Good place
