I brought my 10yo who has taken up sewing and hobbies . The ladies there are a wealth of knowledge and love to help. I had almost no wait and was treated with care and respect.

Great selection of supplies and beautiful fabric. The staff however were terrible! First employee seemed disengaged, annoyed and outright rude when asked regarding fabric selection. Other employee abrupt and interrupted about cardboard collection and how upper management does not want cardboard at cutting tables.. even came back to reiterate after removing. Decided to go to another cutting table - both employees continue to engage with each other and discuss personal issues that continued for several minutes with no acknowledgement of my request. Thumb Down….very poor customer service all the way around.

There's a great selection of materials and tools in this store. It's always inspiring to wander about and come up with some new project ideas. The store has an old-timey feel which I appreciate in a fabric store. Nothing fancy but nothing too expensive. Always worth a trip to the land of fabrics when you're in. Courtney.

Always friendly service. Lots of sales, which is really the only time you should buy something as eventually it'll probably go on sale. There's always been lots of staff around which is very appreciated to not have to wait a long time to ask questions, get help finding something, or to get fabric cut. Dog friendly. Excellent place to get notions. For garment fabric you may find what you need here, if not there's discovery fabric in Campbell River.

Well-stocked, helpful, friendly, and clean. Treated my puppy like a king. When another patron would not wear a mask, staff found a solution that allowed her to get what she needed without coming in the store. Highly recommend this place!

Being the only store between here and Nanaimo, you'd understand if the store didn't offer great service; they don't have to, you don't have any other options! But, that isn't the case. The staff is consistently friendly and sincerely interested in your projects. The selection is vast and I promise you will always find exactly what you were looking for for your next project. And probably your next, like, six projects.

My one complaint would be I'd like to see a larger area for looking through the pattern books, but they can only work with the space they have available. It's also worth mentioning it's the only craft store I've ever seen with a separate area for kids to play in while the parent shops, and I think that's just a really neat touch.

Visited from Parksville, mostly to visit the Black Sheep Quilting (BSQ) shop located inside the store at the rear. The BSQ was fabulous with a huge selection of all things quilting; specialty fabrics and popular lines...but also some really nice finds.... Staff was exceptional.
Fabricland staff and store was very well laid out, with some excellent 'deals'. Will be back for sure!
