Don’t go if your black the lady refuse to let me get my car . I was supposed to skip the line and go to the vehicle like I was told by the app. She lied said my card was unacceptable even though her company spread accepted it . Told me it’s was against policy which is a lie. She was rude and disrespectful i wouldn’t let my worst enemy shop with them . So if your not black and your privilege you won’t have a problem but your a working black man who has to go to his father funeral. Be prepare to be treated like a lower class citizen

Bad customer service. Not solution oriented.

My hertz rental had a flat tire. I called the hertz roadside assistance hoping to get a new tire or a change in vehicles. Roadside assistance let me know that the hertz in telluride had a car available and I was all set to exchange cars.

When I arrived, the lady at the desk was on her phone and continued her conversation for 3 minutes until asking me what I needed. I let her know my story and she responded that she didn't have anything from hertz and couldn't do anything for me, even though I had a case number and reservation number.

She then stopped our convo helped another couple out for 10 minutes and then came back to me. She called her manager, Candice, who said that she's an independent hertz who doesn't deal with corporate and doesn't exchange cars. I asked her to check her email box and the reservation system. she said she didn't have anything and that again she's independent. Does that mean she doesn't have to participant or help out hertz customers? What happens if her customers get stuck elsewhere?

I hope no one ever gets stuck in telluride, because there was no offer of help or figuring it out. The Montrose hertz over an hour away was more than helpful in this situation.

I grew up in Telluride with my brothers Anders & Trevor, who unfortunately have both passed. Coming back to Telluride for Ander's memorial I needed a vehicle and I rented one from Heartz & I was blown away by their hospitality. Showing up late for my pickup, they had to reopen just for me & then I was delighted in their upgrading me to a jeep which really helped as it snowed & having four wheel drive made the difference. It was an amazing experience and I was beyond grateful for the kindness & generosity. Thank you so much Hertz Telluride for treating me so well on my return to home. Miss living in Telluride!

Excellent experience. I was flying into Montrose airport and accidentally booked a car at this location (thinking montrose and telluride have a common airport). I got a call from Candace while I was boarding the plane from Denver that the last flight of the day had landed at Telluride and I had not come to pick up the car. I then realized it was the wrong airport. She told me to not worry and she would speak with Hertz and Montrose. When I reached Montrose the car was ready. I was very grateful to Candace and the Hertz team at Montrose location to make it work for us.

Flew into Denver on 7/23 at around 10:30 and waited over an hour and a half to check in and we had a reservation. There was only one person working and the line weaved throughout the building all the way outside. We were traveling with our kids and exhausted after many flight delays and starving. Once we finally got our car we waited another 20 minutes in the line for the clerk to check us out of the parking lot. The car itself was nice, the process was not.
