It was SUCH a pleasure working with Chelsea! I came to her with a wedding dress that wasn't exactly what I'd had in mind (slight impulse purchase). She turned an ill-fitting dress into a beautiful work of art I was so excited to wear on my wedding day! As a woman with some curves, I was worried that the alteration process would hurt my confidence. With Chelsea, it was the complete opposite! I felt great throughout the entire process. She was wonderful about listening to my concerns and making sure the dress fit exactly how I wanted it to. She even directed me to a place to get my husband's great-grandma's veil cleaned and made it wearable for me.

Modehaus Bridal Atelier was amazing to work with!!! After not finding anything I loved at traditional bridal shops, I went to Modehaus. I described that I was looking for a two piece with flowy pants and Chelsea created something better than I had imagined! She was very easy to work with through the whole process of making my ensemble. I am incredibly happy with the result and wouldn’t have changed a thing. I would strongly recommend Modehaus Bridal Atelier to anyone looking for their wedding outfit! (I have attached some pictures. Modehaus made the two piece outfit with the tank top, that I, the redhead, am wearing.)

Chelsea was such a joy to work with. So personable, friendly, funny, and incredibly talented. I had a vision for my outfit that I had no photos of and was yet to exist (to my knowledge), and she executed it perfectly and designed and created a stunning bridal jumpsuit. 10/10 experience at Modehaus! I had a silk satin gown that needed quite a few alterations and Chelsea did a beautiful job! I was worried I wouldn’t be able to achieve the fit I wanted when I first picked up my gown from another boutique, but after Chelsea’s alterations it truly couldn’t have fit any better. Can’t recommend her enough especially if you’re working with a delicate or tricky fabric.

perfectly altered my one of a kind, off the rack stephen yearick dress to fit me perfectly! did delicate and tedious bead and lacework! i didnt get my dress in to be altered until 2-3 months before the wedding day and she got it done with no complaints. couldn't be happier. easy to schedule appointments and work with. also got my veil made by them! very reasonable prices for my alterations in my opinion! thanks so much

Chelsea is an ARTIST.
I came to her with a strapless & intricate dress that didn't quite fit me perfectly. She worked expertly to create the perfect fit and designed beautiful straps to accent the dress using lace scraps from the train. I'm so happy I found her - I would highly recommend her to anyone that doesn't want to worry about who to trust with their wedding gown!! Expert seamstress, thoughtful designer and fabric artist. You won't find better care, high quality craft and as a bonus, a beautiful space to try on and discuss details! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Chelsea is INCREDIBLE!!! I am so so happy that I was able to work with her to design my custom DREAM wedding dress. I knew that I wanted something fun and colorful, and Chelsea delivered. Not only is she amazingly talented, but she is kind, thoughtful, and was such a pleasure to work with. Her studio is beautiful and inviting and I always left our fittings with a smile on my face.

Chelsea took my idea for a colorful floral wedding dress and brought it to life. I came with her with some general pictures and ideas, and I could never have dreamed of such an amazing dress. She also, unexpectedly, brought in a friend to help design my own custom fabric!! We all worked together to create the most beautiful fabric that captured everything that I wanted. In the end, the dress was exquisitely executed and perfectly fitted.

My Mom was also very involved in the design process, and eventually asked Chelsea to make her Mother of the Bride outfit. My Mom chose a suit from one of her existing collections, and Chelsea made it in a stunning magenta color. My Mom was in love with her outfit, and I would not be surprised if she gets it made in multiple colors.

I wish I could have another wedding just so that I could work with Chelsea to design another dress. To all new brides - run, don't walk, to Modehaus and get yourself a Chelsea-original!!
