I came in for a bridal appointment, and was so amazed by my stylist Maria and the owner Katie, so friendly and welcoming. I was able to pick dresses to try on, Maria listened to what I liked and my budget, and helped me find dresses to try as well. I didn’t feel rushed or pushed to make a decision. Maria picked the very last dress I tried on and it was the one! Katie was very helpful in describing the alteration process. I was so excited to be able to take my dress home that day! I can’t recommend these ladies enough!!

This company is simply amazing! They came through for me at the last minute because I had forgotten to do something for my husband and I's 10 year anniversary. They set up a super cute picnic right in our own yard. They set up and take down! I very highly recommend them for any occasion you are celebrating.

I've seen and read a lot about Something Blue and it is great that we have such a specialty shop in our small town.

The thing that is most upsetting is my niece purchased her dress at Pure Bridal who does not do alterations. My niece contacted someone here at Something Blue and brought her dress in.

She had an appointment and was told the dress would be done so she could try it on on a certain date and when she showed up the appointment she was informed her dress was not ready and she would have to make another appointment.

She had to sign a contract for the alterations which I completely understand, but what I don't understand is why you would still charge over $700 for some simple alterations when the dress was not ready and the entire wedding party rented tuxes and shoes from your company.

It seems like some things might need to be reviewed as far as your policies on all of that.

We had a truely fabulous experience at Something Blue! The staff was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. Ashley was my stylist and she listened to what I was looking for in a dress and was able to find me the perfect dress that I purchased the same day. I highly recommend going to this shop. The experience is exceptional and the staff is wonderful.

I found my wedding dress, veil, and jewelry at Something Blue. The gals who work there are very knowledgeable and it was easy to find “the one”. They even gave me suggestions on our color scheme since I picked an off white dress. I cannot day enough good things about their seamstress, JoDee. She was SO helpful and kind throughout the alterations process. She even helped me pick my veil and jewelry! She works fast and is an invaluable asset to this store. We ended up using her for my mom’s “mother of the bride” dress alterations, too. We were very last minute about it, but she worked us in and did an excellent job!

I wish I would have wrote this sooner so I could have remembered the name of the lady who helped me! She was phenomenal! I’d always seen this store in ankeny and heard good things, I hoped one day I would get a chance to go in! I’m so glad I made the trip to Nevada to their new spot. The atmosphere was great , the dresses were beautiful and the overall experience was wonderful! I honestly had no intention of finding a dress that day because I am a completely indecisive person who needs to always needs to think it over. I am so glad I said Yes To The Dress at Something Blue!
