I have been to ValueVillage a couple of times in the last month and definitely have noticed a significant increase in their price point. It’s hard to find anything for under $10, and the most frustrating thing is that it’s not even in good condition. I found a couple of cute items that were pretty expensive considering they’re secondhand, but because they were name brand, the price was understandable, but this was under the assumption that they did a quality check before they priced it. Then I went home and to my disappointment, the leggings that I had bought had completely worn in the thighs and were literally only hanging on by the clear elastic that’s in the fabric..
The sweater I purchased has a massive hole in one of the pockets.
Value Village is going to charge an arm and a leg for used clothing. They should at least be quality checking the clothing before putting it on the floor. They get these clothes for free , And as far as I know, no proceeds go to any charities or any good cause. I would rather shop at Salvation Army where the clothes are half the price for way better quality and there’s profits going to a good cause
Value Village needs to get a grip And honestly, I’m boycotting them after this experience. Only gave one star because I can’t give zero.

Clean and well organized, but more expensive than most thrift stores. They have removed the change rooms and have a restrictive return policy. The staff at this store are usually very helpful.

Came in the store to looks around and was happy until a very rude employee pushs her way past my friend and I with a impolite "excuse me" seemed to be in quite a rush to get stuff on the floor. About 5 minutes after that in another part of the store she comes by again pushing a cart in which my friend quickly moved out of the way, the employee then proceeds to hit her with the cart in the back of the legs. She then rudely says sorry and rushes away. Absolutely ridiculous I'm sorry but if you are in that big of a rush time management should be worked on.

Found a purse at 12.99. Found an identical one for 3.99. Different color. Wanted the one for 12.99. When we showed her the other same purse at 3.99, clerk was happy to reprice the 12.99 one at 3.99. Very pleasant experience.

If you want to shop somewhere where you spend your money on broken stuff and don't get a refund or return, get treated with no respect, overpay for a product they get for free and fooled into believing you're doing something good by donating to a non profit business that does ANYTHING to help the community...THIS is the spot. I won't shop here ever again. If you want to donate to a worthy cause, go to salvation army or local thrift store. Calling this place anything other than complete garbage means you haven't sent the true face of this b.s. multi million dollar succubus
