This is the best pharmacy and Walgreens I have experienced in this area. I have used them since I moved from out of state. I have only used a few other pharmacy in the Chattanooga area, so my review may not make a huge impact but it is a great place. I make the extra drive to go talk with them and get prescriptions or OTC medicine/vitamins. I have never had a bad experience other than them not being able to break the rules.

Main store is great pharmacy has been lacking the past year or two. Order filling delayed for unknown reason to the following shift when it was filled, their is one lady who is helpful, maybe we can time our visits or Might have to check another location been using this one for more than 2 decades.

This is literally the worst pharmacy in the state of Tennessee… they hire people that don’t care about their jobs at all… there is always a problem when it’s time to pick up your medicine… half the time the girls just tell you that you can’t get it filled when you actually can… they will say you don’t have refills or make up dates that you can get it filled so that they dont have to deal with it right then… it doesn’t matter if you have a bottle that says you got it filled on the 23rd… And you also have a receipt to prove it… They will tell you to come back the next day because you actually got it filled on the 26th, (in spite of the fact that they sold it to you on the 23rd) and therefore they cannot fill it the on the 24th of the following month… you have to wait one more day… one more day so they don’t have to deal with you inconveniencing them right now… it doesn’t matter how much documentation you can show them to prove that you got it filled on the 23rd, they don’t want to work… So they’re going to send you away. Then when you actually show up on the day they told you to show up, you have to wait in line while a bunch of other angry customers are cussing them out for the same thing or worse… we just watched a man cuss them out because this is the 3rd time he’s shown up trying to get his meds and they are late…. when you finally do try to get your medicine, they tell you that you can’t get it filled until the 1st of next month… they just pull dates out of their *** … then they start asking about your insurance… come to find out they couldn’t even find you in their computer system… they never pulled you up in the first place, they just made up some BS arbitrary dates because they didn’t want to deal with you and didn’t want to try to find you in their system… meanwhile, people are struggling to live their lives without their medication. Walgreens pharmacy has one job, but they don’t like doing it. They just want you to go there, give them your money, and walk away. They need to start hiring people that actually are competent enough to do the job and they need to start prioritizing treating customers with respect. they’re going to get sued. I’m convinced the only reason this location has not been sued yet is because of the neighborhood and the cost associated with filing a lawsuit… But rest assured one day in the future, these air-headed girls who don’t give a crap about anybody, who sit there and lie to your face when they haven’t even pulled you up in the computer system yet… They’re going to cause somebody to have a heart attack because that person wasn’t able to get their heart medicine. Or they’re going to cause somebody else to die because they don’t have their medicine… And then Walgreens is going to have to pay out their pocket and deal with all sorts of negative publicity because they wanted to save a dollar or two per hour by hiring some kid who wants to get paid to stand there and look at their cell phone. I would expect this kind of thing at McDonald’s… But not the healthcare industry. I have to go through a gauntlet every single time I need to pick up my medicine every single month and I’m sick of it. At this point, Walgreens should be paying me to come get my medicine because I literally have to do more work than their employees in order to get the pills!

Very RUDE pharmacy techs. The customer service here over the years have significantly declined. I have been filling my medicines here for years and have never had an issue. The only problem was the pharmacy seems understaffed sometimes, but I am an understanding person so I know how that can be. What I shouldn't tolerate is rude pharmacy techs and people not being able to listen and do their job correctly. I refilled my prescription over the phone and if whoever the person who filled my prescription entered the wrong one. I even was kind enough to tell put an emphasis on the medicine because I have refills for both of the medicines and they are very close in name. I even told him the MG for that prescription and he still filled the wrong one. It was busy and getting late the night I picked up my order and I just left it in my car. I get up in the morning on ny way to work to take said medicine, and I only open the packaging because they out two different medications in the same bag. Only then I noticed that they filled the wrong presciption and immediately called to see if I could bring it back to get the correct one. The pharmacy tech was very rude. I believe her name was Melissa, but she probably didnt even give me her real name. She said that I would have to pay for a whole new prescription due to someone else's negligence. Do they not have phone calls recorded? Some people don't have money to waste in a costly economy. I feel like I should t have to pay because of someone else's mistake..it hasnt even been 24 hours since I noticed the mistake. If this is how Walgreens handles things, I guess I will just have to go to a difference pharmacy.

I always use this walgreens location to deposite money onto my chime card and for my prescriptions. The employees are always friendly and seem very happy to help customers with their needs. They are also very good at ensuring that checking out is a quick and easy process, so I don't ever have to wait very long in line when I stop in. They have a good variety of cosmetics and candies too.

If meds are called in you fill them I’ve waited in line for 45 mins to get my daughters meds and only one is ready BECAUSE THE OTHER MEDS WERE NOT FILLED BECAUSE IT COST MONEY and WAS NOT COVERED BY INSURANCE … I could seen if it was 100 and something bucks but it’s an 8.00 medicine.

The absolutely slowest pharmacy drive thru ever. Employees seem nice but unless you go late at night, you will sit in the drive thru for at least 30 minutes no matter how many cars are there. Absolutely ridiculous.

Okay the Walgreens that was a half mile away from my house was the absolute worst pharmacy ever dealt with in my 60 years on this planet. This one is just the opposite. They know what they're doing they pay attention to you They actually listen to you and they have not yet screwed up a prescription which the other Walgreens that constantly. Maybe that's why they closed it a couple months ago. This is the closest pharmacy to me in the state of Tennessee and I can't get my pain management prescriptions filled in Georgia So obviously this is where I'm going to go but it's a good store I like the people there and it's easy to get in and out of so that's a big plus to me. It's usually pretty busy but it is a 24-hour pharmacy so I tend to go in the middle of the night the bigger my prescriptions when nobody's there if I can.
